Strategies to improve intercultural communication within your company   

More and more companies are looking to improve their communication both internally, especially in terms of teams and employees, and on a more global level by being in contact with customers, suppliers and businesses in different parts of the world.

In order to make this communication effective and inclusive, it is necessary to understand the cultural dimensions in which every communication process, from the simplest to the most complicated negotiation, is involved, and therefore in this workshop we will be providing strategies to achieve a better understanding when dealing with those around us in the workplace.

The first module aims at learning the basics of intercultural communication and the models we can follow when dealing with people from other cultures and contexts than our own. We will put special emphasis on the so-called "Powerful Questions" and practice how to use them in the best way at work. 

The second module will focus on learning the 3E communication model ¨listening, understanding and empathising¨ with practical exercises and real cases where we will be able to put this model into practice as a main strategy to guide our communication processes in the workplace.   

And finally, the third module aims to show different ways in which other companies at a local and global level are generating our communication strategies, especially in the management of virtual teams. We will review some of these examples and analyse which practices we can include in our day-to-day work and which we can perhaps improve or reinforce.  

The aim of this course is to make communication with those we work with and come into contact with on a daily basis at work flow in a more effective, calm and conscious way. Precisely, we will be working with strategies to help you in the process and generate pleasant and successful work environments.
